Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) is a private nonprofit corporation. CAPSBC is the “anti-poverty” agency established in 1965 after signing of the Economic Opportunity Act by President Lyndon B. Johnson to support his declaration of an unconditional “War on Poverty”.
CAPSBC is the designated Community Action Agency (CAA) for San Bernardino County and is one of over 1,000 Community Action Agencies nationwide dedicated to assisting low-income individuals and families become stable and self-reliant.
