CAPSBC Celebrates 60 Years of Impact
 

Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) marked six decades of service at its 60th Anniversary Gala: A Diamond Celebration on October 24, 2025, at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Ontario, California. The evening brought together community leaders, partners, and supporters to honor CAPSBC’s legacy of fighting poverty and empowering lives across San Bernardino County.

 

Guests enjoyed dinner, entertainment, and the presentation of the 2025 Community Action Legacy Awards, recognizing individuals and organizations who exemplify CAPSBC’s mission. Honorees included:

  • Spirit of Hope Achievement Award: The Ozuna Family 

  • Dr. Margaret Hill Helping People Changing Lives Award: Dr. Terrance Stone 

  • Legislative Advocate Award: Congressman Pete Aguilar 

  • Community Partner Award: San Bernardino Community College District 

  • Venny H. Newman Humanitarian Award: Dr. Amanda Vann-Orellana 

As CAPSBC celebrates this milestone, the organization reaffirms its commitment to innovation, compassion, and lasting impact—continuing to help people and change lives throughout the Inland Empire.
