CAPSBC is a partner in the Conservation and Education Coalition (CEC), an electronic waste recycling program with a goal to help the environment and generate funding for community benefit programs and services.  CAPSBC is certified by Cal Recycle and the Department of Toxic Control Substances as an Electronic Waste Collector.​
