Children's Services

CAPSBC sponsors various fun activities for low-income children, designed to promote social development.

Summer Camp

Each year Community Action Partnership sends low-income children to summer camp at Camp Nawakwa in the beautiful San Bernardino Forest. Children participate in lots of fun activities which include: swimming, hiking, cooking outdoors, canoeing, arts and crafts, nature walks, archery, wall-climbing, and more.

Children's Holiday Gifts

Community Action Partnership works with partners such as Inland Empire Health Plan, Hispanic Employees Alliance, Community Bank of Redlands, and others to provide low-income children with holiday gifts and food.

School Supplies

CAPSBC partners with various groups and events each year to provide school age children with backpacks and school supplies.  Recent events include the Summer Reading Book Fest, Inland Empire Health Plan Backpack and School Supplies giveaway, and Assemblyman Mike Morrell’s “Stuff the Bus.”  CAPSBC also provides supplies directly to children in need.
