Why a public hearing?

Community Action Agencies are required to create a Community Action Plan that serves as a two-year roadmap demonstrating how Community Action Agencies plan to deliver services funded through the Community Service Block Grant. As required by California Government Code Section 12747(b)-(d), Community Action Partnership of San Bernardino County (CAPSBC) will be conducting a Public Hearing virtually for the purpose of reviewing its 2022-2023 Community Action Plan.  The CAPSBC Community Action Plan sets the 2022-2023 funding priorities for local services based on the 2021 Community Needs Assessment.  All testimony presented by low-income individuals and families during the public hearing will be identified in the final Community Action Plan.

When can I submit my comments?

CAPSBC is accepting written public comments and testimonies on our draft 2022-2023 Community Action Plan and Community Needs Assessment starting May 27, 2021 through June 11, 2021.

A virtual Public Hearing is scheduled virtually on Monday, June 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. Comments and written testimony will be recorded and incorporated into the final plan that will be submitted to the State Department of Community Services and Development by June 30, 2021.

How can I submit my comments?

You may submit your comments through the 2022-2023 Community Action Plan Comment Form. This form may also be accessed through our Facebook, Instagram, and targeted emails sent via Constant Contact.
