Senior Choice

Nutritional Program

CAPSBC Food Bank works to address and alleviate hunger and nutrition among food insecure seniors. Healthy, nutritious food items are often prohibitively expensive for low-income seniors. Produce is issued to eligible and approved non-profit food distribution partners. These distribution partners then offer produce to eligible seniors at no-cost in a market-style layout. CAPSBC Food Bank provides all food items to its approved partners at no cost, hence partners participating in this program are not allowed to require any monetary exchange from clients to receive this food aid.

Senior choice program sites are held at participating senior housing facilities and/or senior centers. These sites are not open to the general public. Please contact our Food Bank to learn more at (909) 723-1581.
